Mentoring Site ImageThe LEP Mentoring Activity is a one credit PA/NC offering where, in addition to an introductory orientation, students meet for one hour per week for twelve weeks throughout the semester to advance their cultural competency and language proficiency in a specified language. Students are paired in mentor/mentee groups where the mentee identifies learning goals and the mentor, who is at a higher proficiency level than the mentee, helps the mentee to reach these goals. The pair is supervised by a faculty member in the language and must meet with them a minimum of three times throughout the semester.
